This is Jess from jesshuff.com. In this video, I’ll show you how to sew the tail to the body of my free amigurumi crochet pattern, Dan the Dinosaur.

At this point, the body of your dinosaur should be completed, and the legs should be tacked down.

You should also have a completed tail with a 3-foot yarn tail attached.

Start by pinning the tail to the back of the dinosaur, centered between the legs. The top of the tail should be aligned with the top of the legs.

Thread the yarn tail through a yarn needle. Sew the tail to the body, stitch for stitch.

When you get about 3/4ths of the way around, stuff the tail, then finish sewing.

Secure the yarn tail with a knot, then hide the yarn tail inside the work.

Your dinosaur’s tail is now attached.
