Attach the Head to the Body

Use a disappearing ink marker to trace around the base of a shot glass centered on the bottom of the head.

Attach the yarn tail from the body to a yarn needle. Using the drawn guide, attach the head to the body, stitch for stitch.

Next, make sure each stitch around is secured nice and tight. This is crucial to avoid a wobbly head.

Secure with a knot. Hide the yarn tail inside the work, then trim it off.

Attach the Legs to the Body

Using your disappearing ink marker, draw out two lines on the bottom of the body. They should be the same width as the top of each leg.

Attach the yarn tail from a leg to a yarn needle. Using the drawn guide, attach the leg to the body, stitch for stitch.

Secure with a knot. Hide the yarn tail inside the work, then trim it off. Repeat this process for the other leg.

Attach the Arms to the Body

Using your disappearing ink marker, draw out two lines on each side of the body. They should be the same width as the top of each arm.

Using the same technique as the legs, secure the arms to the body. Make sure the stitches are tight, then secure with a knot. Hide the tails inside the work and trim.

Attach the Tail to the Body

Using your disappearing ink marker, draw out a line on the back side of the animal, near the bottom. It should be the same width as the top of your tail. Use the same techniques from the arms & legs to attach!
