Tutorial: How to attach legs to a body

In this tutorial I will show you how to attach legs to a body when assembling an amigurumi animal using an invisible ink marker.

Note: This tutorial assumes that your legs have already been stuffed and have been slip stitch closed.

Notes

Step 1 – Starting 2 rounds out from the bottom-center of the body, draw across 5 stitches horizontally with a disappearing ink marker on each side.
Step 2 – Before attaching each leg, make sure the start of the spiral (the beginning of round 6 on the legs, done in BLO) is facing down. This will ensure they're not visible when your animal is facing forward/sitting.
Step 3 – Using a yarn needle and the yarn tail on the top of each leg, attach the legs to the body in each of the marked stitches.
Step 4 – Secure each last stitch with a knot. Use your yarn needle to hide the tails inside your work, then exit the needle elsewhere on the work, pull the yarn tail taut, and snip it right against the body (the tail should disappear inside the body).
